Centre for Police Research (CPR) is a trust registered with Assistant Charity Commissioner, Pune under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950 vide Registration No. F-7878 (PUNE) dtd. 31.12.1992. CPR, with its picturesque campus of 6.5 acres, two conference /seminar halls, a banquet hall, restaurant, a library, a Police Memorial and 18 suites / rooms for research and resource persons scholars, was inaugurated on 30.09.2003. It also boasts of a Swimming Pool, Tennis Courts, Billiards Room, Gymnasium, Poolside lawns etc. Centrally located, close to Pune University campus, CPR is ideal for research activities and training envisioned as its main focus. CPR was inaugurated in a hall in the office of the Director of Police Wireless (DAW) on 25.08.1992 and later shifted to the barracks of SP Pune (Rural).
